The Syracuse Food Truck Association was created in 2015 by local mobile food vendors. Their goal was to create an organization that would bring other mobile vendors together to promote, educate, and lobby for the fast-growing food truck culture in Syracuse and Central New York. Starting with only 3 food trucks, the organization now has almost 30 member trucks! We work directly with vendors, event planners, municipal government, promoters and customers to organize events and to grow the food truck industry.

Mission Statement:  

The mission of the Syracuse Food Truck Association is to promote the growth of the mobile food truck industry in Syracuse and Central New York using three main objectives: 

To educate the public that mobile food vendors are held to the same, if not higher health and safety standards and regulations as brick and mortars 

To collaborate with local government to enact legislation that is conducive to a growing mobile culture 

To promote a philanthropic and socially responsible environment among all SFTA members
